BiFocal

The Bi-Focal lens contains two optical corrections. There is a distint dividing line between the two parts. This dividing line generally looks like a D shape within the lens. The upper part of the lens corrects distance where as the lower part within the D shape, is for near vision. People who generally need this type of lens require a different type of lens for close up work.

The most popular bifocal for safety work is a 25/28mm "D" seg bifocal.

Executive bifocals are also available. This bifocal has the top half of the lens for distance and the bottom half for reading.
