Single Vision
The single vision lens is the most simple form of lens, which is made to a single prescription to correct a single particular eyesight problem. There are two general types of single vision lenses, Concave lenses and Convex lenses.
Concave lenses are used to correct short sight problems. These lenses in apperence are generally thinner on the inside compared to the edge.
Convex lenses are used to to correct long sighted issues. In apperence these lenses tend to be thinner on the edge of the lens.
