Parmelee Safety was originally founded in the United Kingdom in 1953, by a gentleman called Mr Alfred Parmelee.

Mr Alfred Parmelee was an American Citizen whom enjoyed a challenge and prior to establishing Parmelee Safety in the UK he had already created a successful safety business in Kansas, USA called US Safety. To this date Parmelee Safety remains part of the USSafety business and between us we support customers with their safety eyewear needs around the world. Mr Parmelee created his business as a family concern and it still remains a family run business to this day.

During the last 56 years Parmelee Safety has developed to become the leading supplier of prescription safety eyewear into the UK market. Supporting a wide range of companies from small to large Blue Chip companies, developing their safety eyewear programmes.
