VDU/DSE Eyecare

In today's modern world within the workplace, you will find that your eyes are at risk where you would least expect them to be. Working with Visual Display Units such as a computer monitor, can have an affect on your sight.

All employees who are identified as VDU users are entitled to an eye test in which the employer meets the cost. If it is found at corrective lenses are required specifically for use with a VDU, then the employer must meet the cost of a standard frame and lenses.

Under the Health and Safety Regulations 1992 for Display Screen Equipment, it is in your interests and especially your employers interests, that the operation of display screens are operated without risk to your health.
