All of our prescription eyewear products are manufactured in our own Opticial Lab which complies with the British Standards Kitemark standard and is ISO9001:2008 accredited.

We have complete control over the manufacture and supply of our Safety and VDU Eyewear, so any issues that may arise can be resolved smoothly and quickly by our customer service support staff.

Our History : 1953 to Present

Parmelee Safety was originally founded in the United Kingdom in 1953, by a gentleman called Mr Alfred Parmelee.

Mr Alfred Parmelee was an American Citizen whom enjoyed a challenge and prior to establishing Parmelee Safety in the UK he had already created a successful safety business in Kansas, USA called US Safety. To this date Parmelee Safety remains part of the USSafety business and between us we support customers with their safety eyewear needs around the world. Mr Parmelee created his business as a family concern and it still remains a family run business to this day.
